Visualize Winning The Lottery?

by karen on May 1, 2011

Do you ever wonder if it’s possible to visualize winning the lottery? It’s interesting; I came across Cynthia Stafford’s story a few years ago and thought it was very interesting because I have read many stories of people visualizing something and then when it came true, it was EXACTLY like they had imagined it.

I tried to find more information on Cynthia, but was only able to find a story like this. I really wanted to find out more about her, but wasn’t able to, even on Youtube. Interestingly enough, I had someone (Ryan Trapp-thank you!) leave a comment on one of my blog posts about how to visualize being a millionaire every day. Here is his comment:

Not sure if you ever heard of Cynthia Stafford, a L.A. area woman who wanted a better life for herself and her kids (including kids she was raising that were her brother’s children after he was killed by a drunk driver). After reading The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy she set her mind on $112 million dollars — winning it in the lottery. For 4 months she wrote it down everyday and every morning and every night she visualized herself holding that check (even down to what she would be wearing) and took it a step further by writing down all the things she would buy, the car(s) she would drive, touring homes she might life, etc. Four months later the Mega Millions hit for $112 million exactly, she put down just $2…and won.

Some may question this, however, she has never tried to make a dime off visualization techniques, or anything (why would she need to?). She has just simply shared her story that anything is possible — if you BELIEVE.

Pretty interesting how the Universe brings to you people who have the information you are looking for.

So, I wanted to share this video Ryan left about Cynthia:

My question to you is are you visualizing what you want in your life and do you realize how powerful your mind is? The thing I want you to realize is that no one’s mind is incapable of creating great things; you just have to have plenty of repetition and discipline. If visualizing winning the lottery is too big of a stretch for you (I believe it’s NOT), then start with something smaller.

One very important thing I would like to add and that is gratitude for what you already have. When you visualize because you are unhappy with your life, you come from a place of lack. If you can learn to be grateful for all the things you have that we sometimes take for granted, you come from a totally different place.

I would love to hear your comments below. I, like Ryan, like to share stories like this to provide inspiration that you can also perform some quite miraculous things with your mind. And if you would share this with others by clicking on the social networking buttons above and below, I would appreciate it. Thanks again to Ryan Trapp. Have a great week and stay inspired!!!

To Your Success,

Thank you for sharing, I have been writing down everyday when I wake up in the morning my gratitudes and my already received of $50,000,000 from a lottery. Then helping myself first and then sharing it with family and charities. So I think I am on the right track. When writing down the amount I say I received it today. Am I right here. Have not received it yet, but I know I am one step closer to my goal everyday.

i have been visualizing myself to win the lottery of $55 million. ever since i was 15 years old i have been on my own and i have struggled to make it but god has blessed me. i just recently had my fist child, a little girl and i don’t want to see her go through what i have been through. i also want to help my family financial. everyday i look for homes, charities that i can help, things i want to buy, goals i want to accomplish with the money and i plan how my day will be. i tell myself every morning that my time is coming as gods will.

Stephanie,

Good for you! It’s amazing what our subconscious mind (God) can do for us when we program it for what we want. Keep me updated on your progress!

All the best,

Karen

I’ve been visualizing, researching, praying, writing things down for over 10 years. My dad had the same dream, unfortunately he passed in 2005. Before he passed he gave me a set of numbers. I’ve been playing them consistently. This year I created a dream board and lately I’ve been seeing the number 375. Hopefully it means 3.75 million or 375 million. I can’t wait until this dream come to past for my family and I.

I having so many sychronistic events hapening lately surrounding the lottery dream thats it almost overwhelming. this morning i stumbled across the video about cynthia you posted and then your website post. so i think my message is to begin to visualize the exact amount i want to win daily. thanks again

Mark,

Yes, visualizing with emotion is the key to conveying to your subconscious mind what you want. It’s only the conscious mind that thinks, wow this is big. Your subconscious mind is impartial; it just gives you want you ask for when you give it the proper instructions. Keep me updated on your progress.

Wishing you extreme wealth, incredible success, perfect health, Divine inspiration and peace!

Hi,

For the past 6 months, I started to believe that everything in this life has an algorythm and that history and number sequences always repeat themselfs. So i started experimenting with numbers and doing research and the frequency of numbers, at the same time I would visualize myself winning the Lottery one day and what I would do with the money, not a single day passes without visualizing for a couple gours a day, so last Tuesday I was shocked when I got 4 out of 5 numbers in the Fantasy five game. The weird thing was that I felt like OMG, i knew it was going to happen like if I knew it was going to happen that day, the only downside is that I didnt get the full amount because it was only 4- out 5, and I was a little disapointed that i didnt get 5-5 , I know that 4- out of 5 is pretty good and the odds of getting that is enourmous, but i dont know if its ever going to happen again, that same day i bought some scrathers and the funny thing is that i felt so confident that I was going to win in all of them which I did, at the same time I got word at my job that I might get premoted which im still in the proces of. I felt very confident like if I can do anything that I set my mind in, if I really put some thought into it. Now i dont know if that day It was just my lucky day or the power of visuialization does work, what i do know is that confidence level is through the roof right now!!!

Hi there! I understand this is somewhat off-topic however I needed to ask.
Does building a well-established website such as yours take a massive amount
work? I am brand new to blogging but I do write in my journal every day.
I’d like to start a blog so I will be able to share my own experience and thoughts online. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or tips for brand new aspiring bloggers. Appreciate it!
