Do you ever wonder if it’s possible to visualize winning the lottery? It’s interesting; I came across Cynthia Stafford’s story a few years ago and thought it was very interesting because I have read many stories of people visualizing something and then when it came true, it was EXACTLY like they had imagined it.
I tried to find more information on Cynthia, but was only able to find a story like this. I really wanted to find out more about her, but wasn’t able to, even on Youtube. Interestingly enough, I had someone (Ryan Trapp-thank you!) leave a comment on one of my blog posts about how to visualize being a millionaire every day. Here is his comment:
Not sure if you ever heard of Cynthia Stafford, a L.A. area woman who wanted a better life for herself and her kids (including kids she was raising that were her brother’s children after he was killed by a drunk driver). After reading The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy she set her mind on $112 million dollars — winning it in the lottery. For 4 months she wrote it down everyday and every morning and every night she visualized herself holding that check (even down to what she would be wearing) and took it a step further by writing down all the things she would buy, the car(s) she would drive, touring homes she might life, etc. Four months later the Mega Millions hit for $112 million exactly, she put down just $2…and won.
Some may question this, however, she has never tried to make a dime off visualization techniques, or anything (why would she need to?). She has just simply shared her story that anything is possible — if you BELIEVE.
Pretty interesting how the Universe brings to you people who have the information you are looking for.
So, I wanted to share this video Ryan left about Cynthia:
My question to you is are you visualizing what you want in your life and do you realize how powerful your mind is? The thing I want you to realize is that no one’s mind is incapable of creating great things; you just have to have plenty of repetition and discipline. If visualizing winning the lottery is too big of a stretch for you (I believe it’s NOT), then start with something smaller.
One very important thing I would like to add and that is gratitude for what you already have. When you visualize because you are unhappy with your life, you come from a place of lack. If you can learn to be grateful for all the things you have that we sometimes take for granted, you come from a totally different place.
I would love to hear your comments below. I, like Ryan, like to share stories like this to provide inspiration that you can also perform some quite miraculous things with your mind. And if you would share this with others by clicking on the social networking buttons above and below, I would appreciate it. Thanks again to Ryan Trapp. Have a great week and stay inspired!!!
