So you are excited about setting up your blog and making money, right? You have everything just right, your header, your plugins, your opt-in offer and now you begin posting and are waiting for the sales to come in.

The most important point, though, which will help you monetize your blog is to generate traffic and have a high converting offer. You can get all the traffic in the world, but if no one buys anything, you won’t see your bank account grow. So, first and foremost, you must learn how to generate traffic, whether this be through SEO or paid methods. Then you must have a high converting offer.
Let me give you a great example of how getting on the first page of Google and getting a pretty good amount of traffic will do nothing unless you have a high converting offer. I spent $2000 for Mike Filsaime’s Profit Platform product. I worked to get my blog to the first page of Google for the keyword “Get Followers On Twitter” which it has been for several months now.
